Half term and Halloweeen across the South East – Jack on the Green 2019. A night of light and lanterns in a lit trail around Beach House Park at Worthing between 6pm and 8.30 pm (20 and 21 October). Same Sky will be running free craft workshops on both days between 2pm and 4pm at Palm Court Pavilion. Everything made in the workshop will then form part of the trail, so come along to spot your own creation. Brighton Scenic Pleasure Flight over the scenic South Coast is more than just a flight it’s a personal Aerial guided tour. Archaeology Activity – Saxons at Hillier Gardens in Romsey, Hampshire. Be an archaeologist at the purpose-built trench in the woods to get muddy and find hidden treasures from ages past. Halloween Bushcraft. Join a session of craft, fun, spooky songs and stories around the fire at Sir Harold Hillier Gardens at Romsey in Hampshire. Visitors will be able to make popcorn, toast a marshmallow and learn how to start a fire safely too. Suitable for ages 4-12 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Booking is essential (Monday 28 October, 10am – 12.30pm or 1.30pm – 4pm) Price £12.75 per session (includes 1 child and 1 adult).

Late night Halloween Tour at Chawton House in Hampshire. Guests will be able to explore the house on a candlelit tour with costumed guides. Learn about the women writers who produced some of the eighteenth century’s most terrifying novels, and hear extracts from Mary Shelley, Jane Austen, and their contemporaries.
