The airline, celebrating its 30th anniversary at Glasgow Airport, flew over 8.1 million customers in its 2025 financial year.
The airline has also confirmed further growth at its Glasgow base, with a seventh A320 family aircraft set to join the fleet from next summer, enabling the airline to offer customers even more choice for flights and holidays across Europe and beyond.
The expansion will also support the local economy, with each UK-based aircraft supporting around 400 direct and indirect jobs and £27m UK gross value added (GVA).
The airline’s Scottish network continues to grow, having expanded by 11% over the last financial year with the addition of 15 new routes.
New routes from Glasgow have been confirmed for next summer to Malta, Pisa, Lisbon and Sharm El Sheikh.
With all new routes, easyJet holidays has launched package holidays inclusive of flights and hotel, as well as 23kg luggage and transfers for beach destinations.
This offers Scots an even greater choice of destinations for leisure, visiting friends and family, or conducting business, while also boosting connectivity from Europe to support Scotland’s vital visitor economy.
Ronald Leitch, Chief Operating Officer at AGS Airports, said: “We are delighted to welcome the addition of a seventh aircraft to easyJet’s Glasgow-based fleet. This latest investment is a clear demonstration of the airline’s continued confidence in Glasgow Airport.
“The introduction of this aircraft will also support further job creation locally and strengthen Glasgow’s position as a key gateway to Europe and beyond,” said Ronald (above right) with Kevin Doyle, easyJet UK Country Manager.
