Golden Eagle Luxury Trains will soon welcome guests on their inaugural Paris to Istanbul voyage with four departure dates for 2025, in either direction. 

The eight-day odyssey traversing seven countries on the gorgeous Danube Express train marks a significant milestone, showcasing Golden Eagle’s growing success and dedication to expanding its European tours.

With a focus on culinary excellence and supreme wines, the tour will be hosted by James Masterson, Product Development Manager, and grandson of Golden Eagle founder, Tim Littler. 

James follows in his grandfather’s footsteps curating unforgettable experiences for travellers. Along with endless views of changing scenery as the train glides through Europe, off-train excursions for this new voyage include:

  • In the Champagne region, visiting the renowned J-Lasalle champagne house. A distinguished vineyard that has been operated by three generations, J-Lasalle will host a private tour of the vineyard and cellars and a bespoke tasting with local cuisine.
  • An exclusive private concert of classical masterpieces by the Vienna Supreme Orchestra
  • A private visit to Slovenia’s Postojna Caves and underground train featuring a unique musical performance by inside the hallowed Crypt of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral
  • A very special dessert masterclass with renowned Golden Eagle pastry chef Rebekah
  • An eight course Gala dinner onboard to celebrate this journey of superb food and wine
