A Matisse master stroke – Opening at the Royal Academy of Art from 5 August to 15 November 2017, the sumptuous Henri Matisse exhibition ‘Matisse in the Studio’ offers a rare glimpse into the artist’s personal collection of objects from around the world with many of the exhibits originally adorning or painted in his studio in Nice.
