Honouring Luciano Pavarotti at Verona – Italy specialists The Italian Connection has announced a spectacular summer special.
The invitation is to celebrate Luciano Pavarotti’s memory in a night of music on September 6 at the Arena di Verona, the fabulous Roman amphitheatre renowned as a venue for its opera and pop productions.
The guest list honouring the 10th anniversary of Pavarotti’s death already includes Placido Domingo and José Carreras and many other opera and pop stars will join them for this special occasion. Part of the concert’s proceeds will be donated to charity.
The Italian Connection has a range of packages available to suit. You can combine the event with a wine and food tasting menu before the concert and then join at art, wine and food tour.

And before all that takes place there’s a feast of top flight music planned between June 23 and August 27 at the Arena di Verona.
The International Opera Festival, now in its 95th edition, presents Aida, Nabucco, Rigoletto, Madama Butterfly. There are also Galas with Placido
Domingo and for Beethoven’s 9th Symphony in this truly magnificent setting.
