Travel in style with award winning Viking

2nd February 2020 By News Desk Leave a Comment

Travel in style with award winning Viking – Viking has topped the table in the Which? annual ocean cruises satisfaction survey.

The award-winning river and ocean cruise line performed exceptionally well in every category – a significant achievement considering Viking’s first ocean ship set sail as recently as 2015.

Wendy Atkin-Smith, Managing Director of Viking UK, said: “We are thrilled to top the table in the Which? ocean survey for the second year in a row.  We offer an alternative to mainstream cruises – Viking is a destination-focused cruise line which offers culturally enriching experiences for curious travellers who want to explore the world in comfort. It’s also about what we don’t offer – no casinos, no hard-sell and no children under the age of 18.”

The news comes hot on the heels of Viking’s announcement that it will launch new expedition voyages. Viking Expeditions will begin sailing in January 2022 with its first vessel, Viking Octantis, embarking on voyages to Antarctica and North America’s Great Lakes. A second expedition vessel, Viking Polaris, will debut in August 2022, sailing to Antarctica and the Arctic.
