Vietnam excites the senses with Rickshaw Travel

Vietnam excites the senses with Rickshaw Travel – A sensory journey through Vietnam with Rickshaw Travel – Vietnam is a country full of boundless choice, and one that awakens all the senses.

From its energetic, colourful cities to it’s hushed rural countryside and coastline of tropical beaches, it’s a majestic destination and one that provides an adventure for all who visit.

With epic UNESCO World Heritage sites to be seen, exotic wild animals to be heard in tropical national parks and authentic Vietnamese food just waiting to be tried in floating villages,  Rickshaw Travel is sharing the best bite-sized trips for a sensory journey through Vietnam.

See the sights in Hoi An – a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Vietnam’s most atmospheric towns.

Hear the call of the wild in Cat Tien National Park – The tropical rainforest of Cat Tien National Park is vast, and the sounds of the wild echo through its century-old trees and botanical gardens. The area is also home to the Dao Tien Endangered Primate Species Centre and the Bear & Wild Cat Rescue Station, offering visitors a chance to learn about the incredible work being undertaken to rescue, rehabilitate and release these beautiful animals.

Taste your way through the Mekong Delta – The Mekong Delta is home to floating markets, villages encompassed by rice paddies, and small local producers of coconut candy, honey, rice crackers and authentic fruit. This authentic Vietnamese food is best tasted when prepared by locals so spend a night in the home of a local Vietnamese family, learning about their way of life and, perhaps most importantly, how to cook those delicious Delta specialities.

‘Scent’sation in Saigon – With its fascinating culture, classic architecture, and endless backstreets that filter out the aromas of street food hot spots, Saigon is a riot for all the senses. Scoot through the city on a vintage Vespa and find the best places to sample the traditional snacks in the city and listen to local live music as you sip on a Vietnamese coffee. It’s a night tour and a foodie adventure rolled into one.

It’s almost certainly one of the most popular bucket list aspirations – taking part in a safari.  The opportunities to get up close and personal with African wildlife, for many years the exclusive domain of our TV sets (does anyone remember the pioneering deliveries fromArmand and Michaela Denis?), are now many and varied. And Mashatu […]
